I can see some branches.... When I click on "post new thread", it tells me "Please note, your reply will need to be approved by a moderator before it is posted in the forum. "

Some branches like "Africa" are not there yet... but when I click on Africa in my activity statistic, I get an empty branch labeled:
Thorn Tree travel forum ⁄ High risk destinations (content review in progress) ⁄ Africa Messages: 0 - Threads: 0
The same for South America, Central America, South East Asia It seems the risk they are looking for, is discussions about illegal activities in the Third World countries.
Like the weekly "how can I overstay my visa in Brazil" threads...

I am only really interested in SA and that isn't back yet. I had a look at the "community guidelines". My, it is a long list.
"Please note, your reply will need to be approved by a moderator before it is posted in the forum. " Really? Like a blog?

I clicked on the "Post a new thread" option in the Community FAQs branch and got the TT home page- can't post a new thread. Anyone else got the same?

Even the branches which are up are working imperfectly.

And it seems fairly clear that YC will not be coming back. They mean business. They should go scratch their itchy private parts.

If anyone would like the listing for the site to where most of Women Travellers have migrated, please send me a PM. Natrurally enough, this invitation does not extend to Airhead.

It’s no big secret where they’ve migrated to carry on with topics like “itchy private parts” and such: www.politicalstew.com/bb/viewforum.php?f=5No doubt the BBC is more than pleased to have passed on their garbage dump.

But your comment does rather confirm that the original emails to the Beeb came from you, doesn't it? Most people with two left feet don't see the need to shoot themselves in one of them.

Reading your posts here, I only wish I could take the credit for having YC shut down permanently. Just knowing how pissed off you are over it makes me smile. Cheers grandma, and enjoy your Winter.

I have just read on a post on TT that Footprint is starting a forum this year. It should be an excellent alternative to TT. It's a better guide book anyway, at least for South America. They also do pdf chapters of books.
